The Sawmill Inn is a 14 unit inn located in Houston, MN. The Sawmill Inn has 10 hotel rooms plus 4 one-bedroom apartments. It features 6 double queens, 4 jacuzzi kings and 4 extended stay suites with full kitchens and separate living and bedroom areas. It also offers a lobby area, laundry facility, ice machine and vending machines and free parking. The Sawmill Inn was built in 2005 on the site of a previous Sawmill.
OUR LOCATION
Enjoy spectacular scenery while biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, or in-line skating starting right here. For snowmobilers, there are many miles of groomed snowmobile trails. In our wooded hills, along the Southeast Minnesota Scenic Byway (Highway 16), wildlife abounds. Hunters will find an abundance of small and large game including grouse, pheasants, turkeys and deer. Fishermen will find bountiful trout streams nearby in our hills. We’re about twenty minutes away from the Mississippi River. Year round, bird watchers and naturalists will enjoy the beautiful scenery of our bluff country. Come experience it for yourself! Handicapped accessible rooms are available.
PROPERTY POLICIES
- Children under 12 stay free with an adult, if over 12 considered an adult for pricing.
- We are a self serve property. We do not have a front desk. Anything you need call or text or email us. To check in you can do the self check in on your phone/computer or call us to check in.
- All guests must be 18 years or older to book a reservation at The Sawmill Inn.
- Check in 3:00 pm and check out 11:00 am. If you would like to check in early, call or text us before your arrival and we will try to accommodate.
- Room refreshes are not done during stays unless requested. Call or text or email us if you would like one. We offer a self-serve supply closet at the end of the hallway for any extra items you may need during your stay.
- Damage to rooms will be charged to the credit card at market value.
- The Sawmill Inn is a non-smoking property. A $100 fine will be charged to the credit card on file. We have designated smoking areas with receptacles outside.
- We have a 7 day cancellation policy. You will not be charged if you cancel within 7 days before your arrival date.
- We are pet friendly. A maximum of two pets are allowed per room. $50 per pet per night. All pets need to be on leash when outdoors. Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time. No cats or venomous creatures. Service animals are always allowed at no cost.
- We offer: Pack and Play cribs $10 per night, Rollaway twin beds $10 per night, Late checkout at 12:30 $10.
